STAGE – I
SCREENING TEST

1. The screening test at the SSB consists of two tests:-
   (a) Intelligence Test – 2 Sets
   (b) Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT).
   2 The Intelligence Test contains both Verbal & Non-verbal Reasoning.
2. PP & DT consists of writing a story based on the picture shown. It is
   followed by a discussion and then the candidates have to arrive at a common
   story. 10-15 candidates participate in PP & DT at one given time.
3. Based on the performance in the Intelligence Test and PP & DT, the
   candidates are screened in/ out.
